Independently Tested on Every Lot. Every Reserve lot is sent to a third-party laboratory for testing and certification before it leaves our farm. The full results are printed on the seed tag attached to every bag. We do not test our own seed and we do not hide our specs behind marketing claims. The numbers come from a lab that does not work for us.
Below 0.05% Other Crop Seed, Guaranteed. Other crop seed (OCS) is the agricultural seed in a bag that is not the species you are paying for, such as corn, wheat, or clover that finds its way into a harvest. Most premium grass seed allows up to 0.5% OCS or higher. Reserve guarantees less than 0.05% in every bag. That is a tenfold improvement over the industry standard, and is one of the lowest commercially available OCS percentage in consumer grass seed.
The Top of Each Harvest. Reserve is not a different formula from our other seed. It is a different selection. The highest-performing lots, with the cleanest test results and the strongest cultivars, are reserved for the Reserve line.
Farm-Direct. Reserve does not pass through distributors or warehouses. It travels from our cleaning facility directly to your door. That keeps germination quality high, eliminates handling damage, and means we can stand behind every bag because we know exactly where it has been and what is in it.
